The ADaMS Laboratory undertakes cutting edge research in the area of design and manufacturing with a focus on additive manufacturing systems. The Laboratory is proud to be working with researchers, graduate students, and support staff from international backgrounds. The Laboratory regularly hosts undergraduate and graduate exchange students from across the world through funded and self-supported programs. A number of research projects are available in our described research areas at both graduate and undergraduate levels. - Funding options in the Design for Additive Manufacturing are available. The funding is dependent on the applicant’s profile.
- Applicants from China holding a CSC scholarship may also apply.
- Applications from applicants supported by external scholarships/funding will be considered based on a review of their academic credentials and proposed research statement.
- Self-motivated and research-oriented candidates with a CGPA>3.3/4 are encouraged to apply with their CV, list of publications, and a research statement.

We are currently looking for a postdoctoral fellow to join the ADAMS Lab immediately in the area of design for additive manufacturing (DFAM). The successful candidate will conduct fundamental and translational research in development, furthering, and application of design for additive manufacturing methodologies and tools for novel design as well as redesign of existing products for metal additive manufacturing processes.
